How to register ProgeCAD®?
Please key in your serial ( Licence ) number at the opening screen where it says to enter the serial number you have obtained. The computer on which the programme is being installed must be connected to the internet as the serial number will automatically generate a request for an activation code which will be e-mailed within 5 minuets of the request being received. Once the activation code is inserted the programme goes live on that machine.
You are allowed to put the software on an office laptop at no extra cost the same serial number is used but the laptop will generate it's own request for an activation code. These codes are specific to each machine.
The user can install only on one PC at the same time ( with one exception ). If a user installs the programme on two machines ( one desktop & one laptop )and asks for a new registration authorisation code from a different PC(office Laptop), the user will receive the code back and ProgeSoft tolerate this behaviour particularly for small companies as they understand that you often need to travel to demonstrate your work.
We are aware that some customers have no direct connection to internet from the machine on which the software is being installed. The registration can be done by email from another machine if required. If a customers needs to move the license to new hardware the new registration procedure takes only a few minutes. Progesoft have more then 55,000 licenses sold and sell hundreds of license every month everywhere in the world. It is also possible to register by fax but this is much slower.
When the Authorisation code is received by the administrator, every user can use the same Authorisation code to register, without following the Wizard again (the code is machine dependent).
The latest version of progeCAD® 20013 will support workstation registration to avoid problems with multiple users on one machine logging in as different users
